Women Screem is a Festival around the world to celebrate International Women´s Day and to promote the opposition to Violence, every year in March. This 2014, 34 countries are celebrating the Festival from 1st March to 31th.
Bolivia is preparing the Festival in Santa Cruz and Cochabamba cities. Cochabamba´s meeting is in March 22th, and Santa Cruz´s is in March 25th.
In Santa Cruz will participate the Bolivian Queen, Jennifer Salinas; a Contemporary Professor in Litterature and writer Willy O Muñoz, and the singer Singthu Luna. There will be some Readings by Rosas Místicas, a group created by the Author Rosse Marie Caballero. Willy O. Muñoz PhD will present a Conference about four Bolivian novelists who try violece subjects on their books. They are Paula Lopez Moreno, Angélica Guzman Reque, Rosse Marie Caballero Vega and Claudia Peña Claros.
Each participant in the Women Scream will have an important action in this Festival triying to extermine the violence against women. The Bolivian Festival will be place in Santa Cruz at Centro Simon I. Patiño, at 20.00 hours on Tuesday 25th. While in Cochabamba, it ´ll be at Café Punto Aparte, from 18,30 on Saturday 22th.
The team to organize the Festival in Bolivia as the Rosas Místicas in formed by: Coral Arteaga, Yellcka Kippes, Maria Zapata, Daniel Rodriguez; Daniela Gonzales and Cecilia de Marchi Moyano.
